Background & Training

Dr. Kebejian earned her B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior with honors from Columbia University and her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed dual residency training in pediatrics and psychiatry at the University of Maryland and Sheppard Pratt, where she was awarded the Clarence G. Schulz Prize for Best Psychotherapy Paper.

Dr. Kebejian has completed the Adult Psychoanalytic Fellowship Program of the Baltimore Washington Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, and the Psychoanalytic Studies Program of the Washington Center for Psychoanalysis. In addition to psychodynamic and psychoanalytically-oriented therapy training, she also has training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, mindfulness, and imagery-based techniques.

Dr. Kebejian is a Board-Certified psychiatrist with experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and crisis stabilization settings. She has an interest in trauma and has presented research on a national level and conducted clinical work internationally. Dr. Kebejian has worked as an attending psychiatrist and psychotherapist at Sheppard Pratt Health System. She is also Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and a member of the Maryland Psychiatric Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
